Reclaiming Life
Reclaiming Life: A Cancer Story of Hope is a documentary film project centered on resilience after cancer, the healing power of movement, and the human connection found along the Camino de Santiago. The website was designed to support the film as both a cinematic experience and a mission-driven platform—inviting visitors to watch the trailer, explore the story, meet the filmmakers, view insights, follow updates, and support the movement through donations, screenings, merch, and community engagement.
A story-led website for a documentary rooted in hope, survivorship, and second chances.

Strategy
I worked closely with Reclaiming Life Founder and Director, Gregory O. Proctor, to create a story-driven website that supports both the documentary and its larger mission. The goal was to design a website that felt emotionally resonant while still being clear, organized, and action-focused. To achieve that, I structured the site around key user journeys—learning about the film, engaging with its message, exploring supporting content, and taking meaningful action through donations, screenings, merch, and updates.
The final website combines cinematic visuals, strong branding, and intuitive navigation across multiple custom pages, including documentary details, insights and statistics, cast and crew, support opportunities, and blog-style updates. This approach allowed the site to function as both a promotional home for the film and a long-term digital hub for awareness, outreach, and community connection.
